The anglo-franco cultural divide is “just distinctly weird and not so good”

There was an interesting article by Brendan Kelly in the Montréal Gazette on the anglo-franco cultural divide “that’s just distinctly weird and not so good”. Kelly points out that “it is a little bizarre that my community hasn’t the slightest idea about what’s going on in the culture around them.”

AQI’s mission statement includes the following sentence: “We value integration, and we are fully immersed in Québec society, enjoying its beautiful and unique culture.” So we’d have to agree with Kelly and encourage our fellow anglophones to get to know better the richness of Québécois culture!
